- $2,000,030.00 settlement – The case involved a tragic scenario as the tire of a van that was driving eastbound on SR-91 became dislodged. The tire traveled over the center divider, across several lanes, and into the front windshield of another vehicle that was driving westbound on SR-91. The wheel ultimately struck a passenger. Through investigation, it was discovered that a repair shop failed to properly service the van. The driver and the repair shop were held accountable.The maximum policy limits of $2,000,030.00 were able to be obtained. Notably, the settlement was able to be reached without the presence of the van or the wheel.
