Notable Case Results
$1,000,000 – FULL POLICY LIMITS FOR 49-YEAR-OLD TEACHER
**CONFIDENTIAL SETTLEMENT**
In 2025, I secured a $1,000,000 pre-litigation confidential settlement for a 49-year-old teacher who suffered a traumatic elbow injury after tripping on a dangerously raised section of sidewalk at her condominium complex. The fall led to emergency surgery, multiple follow-up procedures, serious infections, and lasting nerve damage.
Through a prompt site inspection, detailed investigation, and persuasive sworn declarations from neighbors confirming the hazardous condition and the HOA’s prior notice, our team built a compelling liability case that prompted the insurer to tender its full policy limits without the need for litigation.
$850,000
In 2025, I secured an $850,000 settlement for a 66-year-old man who sustained a traumatic cervical spine injury in a rear-end collision. The force of the impact caused him to lose control of his vehicle and crash into a traffic sign on the right shoulder.
Liability and causation were heavily disputed. The defense argued that the client’s injuries were attributable to a prior accident that occurred approximately 11 months earlier, rather than the subject incident. Through a detailed review and comparison of MRI imaging, we identified clear and objective differences demonstrating that the client’s neck injuries were caused by the subject collision—not preexisting conditions. This medical evidence was critical in overcoming the defense’s arguments and securing a substantial recovery for our client.
$150,000
In 2026, I secured a $150,000 settlement for a 40-year-old client who was injured in a motor vehicle accident. Prior to retaining our firm, the insurance company induced the client to accept a $2,500 payment and subsequently attempted to enforce a release sent after the funds were deposited directly into his account via Zelle.
The insurer initially denied the claim, asserting that the matter had already been settled. We challenged the validity of the purported release and guided the client through appropriate medical treatment to fully evaluate his injuries. Ultimately, we were able to resolve the case for an additional $147,500, ensuring the client received fair compensation despite the insurer’s early attempts to undervalue and close the claim.
