A common sentiment, until you need a lawyer, many think of this statement as a diatribe by Shakespeare against lawyers. Nothing could be further from the truth. The people making this statement were plotting the overthrow of the government. They needed to get rid of the lawyers who stood between them and their seditious acts; it was the lawyers who had the power and ability to prevent the sedition from occurring. At the Law Office of W.
